Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is often used for telephone handsets, cars, shower trays, rigid luggage, domestic appliance housings (food mixers), electroplated parts, radiator grills, handles, computer housings.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is used for automotive seating, bumper and door components, floor levellers, stowage systems, consoles, pillars, side impact protection. Durable packaging, furniture, seafood distribution, Fruit & veg distribution, consumer products lead a host of other applications.
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a popular packaging choice for the milk and fresh juice industry as well as pipes, chemical cans, crates, packaging, pallets, wheelie bins, bags, profiles and more.
Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) used for shrink wrap, films, carrier bags, caps, general packaging and water pipes.
Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), used for kayaks, water tanks, drums & pipes
Polyamide (PA) Nylon fibres are used in textiles, fishing line and carpets. Nylon films are used for food packaging, offering toughness and low gas permeability, whilst injection moulded nylon make great cable ties and automotive parts.
Polycarbonate (PC) is often used for home water dispensers signage, chocolate trays, bottles, roof lights, machine guards, bullet proof windows, bank safety screens and bus shelter windows.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PT), widely used for drinks bottles, trays, polyester fibre, films and strapping.
Poly(methyl Methacrylate) (PMMA), also known as acrylic, often used in sheet form as an alternative to glass, such as displays, baths, TV screens and signage.
